Menstrual Counselling

It is important to demystify menstruation, break the taboos related to periods and educate adolescent girls on how to keep a healthy hygiene during these days. To encourage our students to accept the change in their bodies with an open mind, without shame or embarrassment we organised sessions on Menstrual Hygiene with our students of classes VI-XI in smaller batches.

In the highly interactive sessions conducted by our school counsellor and class XI Psychology teacher, Ms Shuchi Mahatta, students shared their experiences and the problems they faced.
