Pacific World School organised Mathematics Week from 31st Oct to 4th November, 2022.
The week kicked off with a Special Assembly by Grades 3 -5, during which children portrayed famous mathematicians, conducted quizzes, and performed the mathematical shape dance.
A range of activities like sudoku, tangram shadow puzzles and math maze followed. Through art integration children made Sierpenski’s Triangle, Fibonacci Spiral, Square Root Spiral, Ratio and Proportion Shade Card, etc. Mental ability tests and real life applications based on Mensuration were introduced to give the students a hands-on experience.
We are certain the weeklong activities will turn our students into lifelong learners of Mathematics.
